Todd Hedin has been a practicing attorney since 1974 and a member of his current firm and a partner since 1981. Todd's practice emphasizes civil trial work and appeals in both state and federal court.

Todd has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1974, the Federal District Court since 1975, and the United States Supreme Court since 1988. He has litigated cases for individual and large corporate clients in all of the State courts in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, other courts throughout California, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Todd has represented clients on appeals in the California Court of Appeal, the California Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Todd is an "AV" rated attorney in Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest rating available from the best known peer-review source of information concerning attorney skills and reputation.*

Todd has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in civil trials and appeals. Todd won the first multi-million dollar verdict in the history of Marin County in 1985. He has litigated cases involving real estate transactions, contracts, boundary and property ownership disputes, business and partnership disputes, personal injury claims, and insurance coverage issues, among others. Todd's practice includes counseling clients of his firm in contract formation, insurance coverage, real property ownership obligations, business and real estate transactions, and employment issues.

Todd has been a resident of Marin County since his youth, having grown up in San Anselmo. He attended Sir Francis Drake High School, Amherst College, and the University of California at Berkeley. Todd attended and graduated from the University of Toledo (Ohio) College of Law while stationed in Toledo as an officer in the United States Coast Guard.

Todd is a member of the Marin County Bar Association (past officer, past director), and the State Bar of California (past chair and member, State Bar Public Relations Committee). He is a member of the Mission San Rafael Rotary Club (past officer and director). An avid sailor, Todd is also a member of several yacht clubs.
